I live in Minnesota, happily, and we received about six inches of fresh snow yesterday. Yes, snow brings certain hassles but it also settles in like a comforting blanket of beauty and quiet for our dark days of this season. Winter is like nature’s call to slow down, snuggle in, nurture your depths and allow seeds to germinate within. I left the office at nearly 10 p.m. last night. Traffic was light and the quiet of the snowy night abounded. We have several large pines in the front of the building, and this beauty loomed large on my walk to the car. Gorgeous as she stands tall and filled with so many flakes. Nature displays such beauty every day; we need only notice. Blessings, Barb
The Force Of Kindness by Sharon Salzberg
Ever wished you could be kinder or more compassionate? I have. Growing up with a big sister for whom kindness came naturally, I had a constant marker for this shortcoming.
